  • Lori Palladino
    Founder

    Veteran pet stylist, Lori graduated in 1985 from then world renowned New York School of Dog Grooming under the legendary Sam Kohl. Immediatley after graduating she opened 'Clippendales K-9 Review' which quickly stood among one of Staten Island's most prominent grooming establishments. In 2005 the decision to go mobile was initiated and a new company was formed, Rover Done Over; A Mobile Dog Grooming Service with it's 'Lean Mean Dog Cleanin' Machine' hit the streets bringing a calm, relaxed, non-stressful environment to its customers front door.

    Co-Founder

    An accomplished trainer and canine counselor, Gary has worked with dogs professionally since 1974. He holds certifications as an instructor in canine first aid and CPR with the American Red Cross, American Safety and Health Institue, Medic First Aid and Emergency Care and Safety Institute respectivley. Additionally certified in Animal care by the NYC Department of Health.

    I used Lori and Gary for my 5 month old Goldendoodle rescue and I cannot say enough great things about them. They came late in the evening to accommodate my work schedule, and were extremely kind and gentle with my boy. They gave me great suggestions and took the time even after having worked all day (I was their last appt) to go over how he did and alerted to me his very adverse reaction to the blower. My poor guy got so nervous he pooped after his cleaning was done and theytook the time to clean and groom him entirely a SECOND TIME! I imagine this field of work requires a lot of patience and care. It is clear to me Lori and Gary both have a lot of it. Even after his nervous accident my pup was still trying to give them both some love so I could tell immediately he really liked them and his coat smelled great for weeks afterwards! Will definitely be using them again and highly recommend their services.

    I had my Shitzu Spanky done for first time on Friday with rover done over mobile and I can tell you he was in bad shape but they calmed him down real good & groomed him.     I'm so happy Rover Done Over was able to fit me in on short notice due to a cancellation. I have a rescue German Shepherd who is skiddish around other dogs, so a typical groomer where he is surrounded by other dogs isn't an option for us.
